2016 in retrospect.

Happy New Year!!!!

I’m so Excited for 2017 and all the goodness that is coming along with it.

I’m grateful for the kind of year 2016 was,

I’m grateful for you, for your love ,your kindness and your support.

I learnt a lot of lessons in 2016 but the one I’m particularly taking into 2017 is “Never Ever give up” .

In 2016 I passed an exam I had failed repeatedly, I was tempted to give up ,so I’m thankful for parents who won’t let you give up.

The constant encouragement and prayers by family and friends made all the difference.

I learnt that you dont truly fail till you stop trying.

I’ve learnt to fall seven times and stand up eight.

I’ve learnt that God is truly always there through our most cruel predicaments , and when he has said yes nobody can say no!. Sometimes this predicaments are to teach us vital lessons, I think my lesson was being able to trust God completely and without doubt no matter what, I’m still learning.

I spent half of 2016 trying to pass that exam so by the time I was done I had kind of given up on the rest of the year…. I mean, what can one do in just less than 6 months? The answer to that was a lot. I completed a photography class and with the help of my tutor I was able to empower a few other women to do the same.

I received a schorlaship to learn make up from Ewabela makeup academy….

If you know me , you’d know that photography and makeup are things I’ve always wanted to do and just never got round to doing , in 2016 I finally ticked them off my to do list . I achieved goals I didn’t know I could successfully achieve in 2016. It was most definitely an amazing year.

I look forward to more exciting things happening in this new year ,achieving goals, crushing barriers and much more with God on my side.

I wish you a fruitful 2017, I pray that all that your heart desires come to pass and that your dreams, hopes and aspirations are fulfilled!

Cheers to an even better year.

Thank you for reading

What are the lessons you learnt from 2016? Do share.

I’d like to hear from you as always.
