The Cami dress

Hello  again! πŸ˜€

This week I’m here with a Cami strap dress better known as a spaghetti strap dress around here ( I know growing up they were called spaghetti dresses) and I’m here to tell you ,why you should own one

They are chic, feminine, versatile ( I believe they can be styled in several different ways, even though I’m wearing it in the most obvious possible way here)
1. you can wear it as a top with a skirt,
2.or as a pencil skirt with a top,
3.and you can also wear the dress over a basic top . you get me?
I’m sure there are more styling options, if you can think of any please share with me.

It can also be dressed down with flat sandals or dressed up with heels.. an added bonus is you’ll look feminine, regardless of how you style it.

I have to admit that I initially wasn’t to keen on it because of the straps and the difficulty in finding a bra suitable bra.. But look at me now 😜.. If you have the same problem don’t let it discourage you.

I’m wearing a jacket over it here, do you think it could work as work wear?.
I think wearing it casually with a kimono would be nice too.

I’d totally recommend getting a dress in this style if you don’t own one yet.  I hope I have been able to convince you to.

What do you think of  this outfit?
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section 😊.

  1. Hi Tonye,

    How’ve you been?

I agree with you, the cami dress should be a wardrobe staple, it is such a versatile piece.

I like how it can be dressed up or down. It’s the sort of dress that I’d grab on a day when I can’t think of what to wear or if I need to dress in a hurry, which is like every blessed day! πŸ˜€

    You look great.

  2. 90s fashion is coming back with a bang and I’m loving it. I had a couple of spaghetti dresses when I was younger and seeing yours made me miss them a whole lot. I’d definitely restock my wardrobe with it very soon and I’ll rock it as a top with pencil skirt. Your hair is amazing!

    1. The 90’s was a wonderful time as regards fashion, like you I am absolutely loving it!. The restock means my aim has been achieved , I’m ecstatic! Tag me when you wear yours. Thank you 😘

  3. Yea. I love cami dresses. They pass for multipurpose /go-to dresses. And for small boobed girls like us that don’t need to wear a bra always, the dress is Just perfect!
