Denim on Painted Denim

Hello! *in my most enthusiastic voice*
I think I always say how excited I am to bring each outfit posts to you! Trust me It’s because I truly am.

You know how great denim is?, I’m just going to assume you said yes.. Because denim is awesome!!!
Then I found painted denim!!!.
I like when a wardrobe staple also doubles a piece of art !! Can one really ask for more? I doubt.

I’m wearing a crop from carnivour creates via giddimint from the time giddimint still existed .. Sad stuff

A mini denim dress as jacket from @thehdhqv

My pretty pink shoes are from asos

And my” oh ! So fabulous painted denim trousers from @dricky_

I also got a painted denim jacket and he ( the person who makes the  painted denim ) threw in a free tote bag because he’s a nice guy.. Lol.
I was convinced it was going to be really expensive, you know Nigerian creatives and their palava, I asked and I was pleasantly surprised .
Shoot him a DM too.
I can’t wait to see how you style yours.

Unrelated: I was telling a friend how I feel about Instagram traders that insist on telling one their prices only over DM are so weird, its like being in a shop and having the seller insist on whispering prices into you ear, instead of just telling you 😬.

  1. Hi Tonye,

#Cool Kid Alert ! This outfit screams “too cool for school”, you look lovely. 🙂

I know right?! I find their “prices via DM policy” rather amusing, I suspect that they don’t sell their merchandise at a uniform price, it varies with who’s requesting for it. I like the idea of trade transparency.

    Have a great week.

    1. Hello Nedu’
      Thank you!.

I’m sure the prices vary, which now makes me wonder how they determine who can afford to pay the higher price, is it by the quality of the Instagram pictures? The clothes I’m wearing? Or by the ratio of my followers to following… Lol!
