I’m extremely in love with prints, and even more in love with Ankara prints. check out this Instagram account I run that serves daily printspiration here .

I used to have a dress with two side splits just like this one. Oh how I loved that dress! Le sigh. You look amazing in yours too; I like the star pattern.

Did you redo your crochet? It’s getting prettier.
I like this split dress, never mustered courage to get/sew one.

I love the outfit. Those shoes are everything! I like print but I feel people overdo the whole afrocentric thing these days with ankara. I prefer ankara when it’s most subtly used in an outfit. IMO, less is more when it comes to Ankara

Printastically printabulous! (I couldn’t help myself XD) You look nice, I like how you styled the dress with slim pants.
I love African prints, they add character to a garment . I have mixed feelings about Ankara fabric sometimes, after the initial freshness that comes with newness, after washing once or twice it starts to fade because that’s generally how cotton behaves.
I was so happy when I started seeing African prints on chiffon and satin fabrics, those fabrics hold colour better post-washing, but are annoyingly more expensive than cotton ankara.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
