Hi guys,
Myself, Ogeoluwa and a few of our other friends attended the gidiculture event this past easter Saturday.
The event is a beach festival/concert,like the Nigerian interpretation of coachella, which is an annual music and art festival held in carlifornia.
I love the fact that Nigerians are perhaps the most stylish people ever ,always so fashion forward, everybody looked so good in their various interpretations of what beach festival outfits should look like.
The festival was great for networking and meeting new people, and the food vendors were affordable.

But did I have fun?
Err…. I’m not so sure, I think there should have been more activities besides the volleyball.
The supposed art exhibition had nice art work but the organization was not so great which made it seem like an after thought.
I got free drinks from the fayrouz and Smirnoff tents, kudos to them.

Osa7 did this super cool art right theree at the Smirnoff tent! Talent!.

I hope everyone who could stay till dawn or at least till the concert started had a better day than I did.
Would I be attending the next gidiculture festival?
I don’t think so.

Cheers
Happy Easter celebration
Tonye Igbani.

  1. I see what you’re putting down and all but, but let me ask this; how the hell did you keep your outfits fresh from all the beach sand? LOL. I’m sorry. Beach sand and I never get along. The festival looks really cool. I wish we had more of those here.
